In Argentina, in the city of Buenos Aires, there is a unique railway museum, Ferroclub Escalada, maintained by volunteers. Visitors can see historic steam locomotives, early 20th-century carriages, and even take a ride on a small 'trochita' train built by enthusiasts. The museum was founded in 1987 by a group of railway enthusiasts to save a locomotive from being scrapped. Today, its collection has over 60 vehicles. Admission fees are: 3000 pesos for children aged 4-12 and retirees, 5000 pesos for adults. The 'trochita' ride costs 1000 pesos per person. The museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 15:30 to 19:00.
